Infant:

In the infant room there is no set schedule for activates as each child and their schedule is unique to them. We either sleep or feed them on demand or on a certain schedule per parent’s request. We change diapers every 2 hours unless otherwise needed. We stimulate the children in their new surroundings of life by cuddling and loving on them and also having floor time (which includes tummy time), songs, stories, and quiet activities. As the children get older we do more sensory activities with them and also art.

Toddlers:

We are having fun in this room exploring our new territory; we are discovering out just who we are and becoming very independent.

In the toddler room we work on different skill sets through different projects planned by their teachers. We do circle time with includes stories, songs, colors, alphabet….All to get them ready for Pre-School!

·         Diapers are changed every 2 hours, unless otherwise needed.

·         We have a bathroom if your child wishes to start potty training while in this room

Pre-School:

Pre-School, Pre-School, Pre-School, man do we have fun!!!! We learn more through play at this age. We are discovering our boundaries and becoming our own individuals. We do a circle time which includes: Stories, Songs, Colors, Numbers, and Letter sounds. Each child has a shape associated with their name to start name recognition. Each Pre-School student has a name tag for circle time which has their name and shape on one side and just their name on the other; they are often switched back and forth to see how the children are doing at name recognition.

Pre- Kindergarten:

Pre-Kindergarten is more academic to get them ready for the class room in Kindergarten. Each child has a cubby in the Pre-K room to keep their own work in; each student has a work box filled with crayons, markers, pencils, scissors etc.…to practice keeping track of personal property.
