Rising Stars Child Care & Learning Center Meets Rising, Important Need
Milford, MI Daycare Center Ensures Child Care-Development
While Families Work
Milford, MI – With work, school and the hectic here and there of today challenging families of all make-ups, Milford’s Rising Stars Child Care & Learning Center is doing its part to make a difference. Located near the General Motors Proving Grounds and launched in May, 2008 – Rising Stars Child Care & Learning Center is purposely positioned to serve as an educational, development and enhancement partner extension for every challenged working parents in Northwest Oakland County, said Nicole Whitener, Owner & Principal.
“Rising Stars named itself that for a reason – it lifts kids up with great teaching, play, facilities and the ability to tie-it-all together in a ‘home away from home’ atmosphere,” Whitener said. “The overall facilities and location is a historic and warm sprawling Milford farmhouse, making for a unique and better setting for kids of all ages to feel comfortable in their development while their parents work to make ends meet. The Rising Stars’ facility and program is miles away from the industrialized, templated anti-septic brick box feel of some other Day Care Centers we see out there.”
With gasoline prices hurtling toward the $5.00 a gallon mark and beyond, and structured families of all types and sizes being challenged – economically, emotionally and motivationally – like never before, the $60 billion annual U.S. Day Care industry must be ready to help communities meet these challenges like never before. And, whether coming from two-parent, single-parent or “parent-and-a-half” blended environments, multiple national studies confirm that nearly 65% of all mothers and even more fathers spend considerable time working outside of the home.
“Rising Stars Child Care is dedicated toward providing the best balance for our communities’ children so their parents can focus on meeting the professional and economic challenges that will ensure their future,” Whitener said. “Rising Stars’ learning programs and structured kindergarten and elementary school preparatory curriculum takes place in the morning hours, when students are best focused. And, to ensure balance, social skills and that important thing we call Fun, we provide both self-structured and organized play in the afternoon.
“And, at Rising Stars, we apply a unique, personal program and the interactive specific best for each child as only a single-owned, local Child Care and Learning Center can provide,” Ms. Whitener adds. “Having worked in a variety of Day Care settings, from chains to in-home style programs, my Milford-based, ‘neighbors you know’ approach toward parental extension is unique and effective for very good reasons; namely, my staff and I.”
